I lead students through the Classical Pilates Method both on the mat and equipment. I have 18 years of teaching experience and work with students of all ages, fitness levels and those with special needs.

Train with a licensed massage therapist and bodyworker, Polestar Comprehensively, and Nationally Certified Instructor. Opened Millstone Pilates, the first studio to open in Western Monmouth County in 2001. We are a fully equipped studio. We have reformers, towers, Cadillac, ladder barrel, mve chairs. We offer private, semi-private and group classes.

Svetlana graduated from a prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts in Dance. In 1993, she joined a world-renowned Kirov (Mariinsky) Ballet where she performed in numerous classical and contemporary productions and extensively toured throughout the world. In 1999, Svetlana moved to the United States where she continued her dancing career at Ballet Internationale in Indianapolis, IN.


Svetlana began teaching in 2003, first as a ballet teacher and later as a fitness and Pilates instructor. Svetlana received comprehensive Pilates training from Balanced Body University, including Reformer, Tower, Chair, CoreAlign® and Barre. She is also a Flexistretcher® Master Teacher and a certified TRX® trainer. Svetlana is passionate about teaching movement, truly loves to work with people, and strives to give her clients the best Pilates, dance, and fitness experience. The concept of offering a full yoga studio environment at a cost much lower than other studios; while offering amenities such as child care, sauna, steam room, and gym access was the Yoga Solace Club's vision.
Meet the Manager: Donna M.
Donna Mezzina is the Yoga Director for the Yoga Solace Club.

Donna Mezzina RYT, CYT, is a registered yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance (with a 200- Hour certification) and trained at Inner Light Yoga Studio. She has attended extensive teacher training with senior teacher Seane Corn in Vinyasa Flow, as well as workshops with Kino Macgregor (Ashtanga), Sharon Gannon and David Life (Jivamukti), Dharma Mittra and Doug Swenson (Ashtanga). Recently, Donna attended the Yoga Journal Conference for teacher training track, studying with senior teachers, Sadie Nardini, Natasha Rizopoulos, Scott Blossom, Jason Crandell, Cyndi Lee and Desiree Rumbaugh (Anusara).

Donna has been practicing yoga for 10 years and has been teaching since 2007. She imbues her classes with her down- to-earth and easy-going style, creating a balanced and peaceful experience. We are a Full Service Pilates Studio. Offering Small Group Reformer BARRE, MAT, and Spine Corrector Classes. We also have Private and Duet sessions using the Cadillac/Trapeze, Ladder Barrel, Split Pedal Chair and other small apparatus. Our classes are small and designed to educate each student in pilates not just give a workout. All our instructors are educated and trained by national pilates educators.

We continue to bring safe In Studio classes safely spaced to allow all equipment to be cleaned and disinfected. Also available Virtual Zoom classes. These classes are designed for each student in attendance not a prerecorded class.

For all packages purchased through our studio we offer FITVideo. These videos are available on demand and consist of Yoga, Pilates, Barre and Gyrokinesis.
