I lead students through the Classical Pilates Method both on the mat and equipment. I have 18 years of teaching experience and work with students of all ages, fitness levels and those with special needs.

Ms. Conner has been a resident instructor for Cirque du Soleil since 2007 and has extensive experience working alongside physical therapists and chiropractors. In January 2014, she became a Faculty Member of Balanced Body for the MOTR, an exceptional piece of machinery that challenges the core and improves balance and stability. The Pilates Haus is a fully equipped Authentic Pilates Studio. The Pilates Haus offers Private and Semi Private sessions as well as group Mat and Tower classes. Svetlana graduated from a prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts in Dance. In 1993, she joined a world-renowned Kirov (Mariinsky) Ballet where she performed in numerous classical and contemporary productions and extensively toured throughout the world. In 1999, Svetlana moved to the United States where she continued her dancing career at Ballet Internationale in Indianapolis, IN.


Svetlana began teaching in 2003, first as a ballet teacher and later as a fitness and Pilates instructor. Svetlana received comprehensive Pilates training from Balanced Body University, including Reformer, Tower, Chair, CoreAlign® and Barre. She is also a Flexistretcher® Master Teacher and a certified TRX® trainer. Svetlana is passionate about teaching movement, truly loves to work with people, and strives to give her clients the best Pilates, dance, and fitness experience.
