Pilates sessions are taught using a combination of manual corrections, while instructing through clear and deliberate verbal cues. The exercises are specific and intended to move you from being centered and aligned into several progressions for a fully integrated session. I am supportive and encourage all clients to stick with it, believing the Pilates movements will be learned and understood in time and is the answer to achieving a more mobile, flexible, and strong body. I challenge, motivate, and encourage each client through each part of the session. The pace is deliberate, while allowing you to move in a way that you will feel comfortable. Clients are progressed into more advanced work in a seamless approach- It will leave you fascinated at your own progress! Areas of special training include ACL/ Meniscus tears, Pilates for golf and raquet sports, Hamstring/ Lattismus tightness, Pre Post Natal, Gluteals and Low back pain. In addition to Pilates I offer nutrition and lifestyle coaching. Available to train individuals and groups in home, as well as corporate fitness instruction. I am available on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
