Larisa has started her fitness career in 1997. She weight trained and practiced martial arts for many years, and while still respecting all modalities she ultimately settled on Pilates and Yoga. She has trained with many well respected instructors in both forms, but she teaches her own style in both. Pilates uses the classical style as a foundation but incorporates a large body of non-traditional material. Her Yoga practice, Just Yoga, is designed to temper the ego so that friendship and respect may be established with the body.
Larisa has over 10,000 hours of training and has worked with many people who have special conditions. She has extensive experience working with cancer survivors and people with various joint or spinal injuries, operations, or replacements. She has worked intensively with people of various mental disorders at the South Florida State Hospital, is a black belt with full competition experience, is a published writer, has a MA in mathematics, and is currently obtaining her second degree in Alternative Medicine.
